The Montana Range Tour is an annual event that is held in a different location of the state each year. The Tour provides the opportunity for farmers, ranchers, agricultural organizations, land management agencies and the general public to share information and gain increased expertise on natural resource issues, notably on agricultural lands.
The 2017 Tour took place in Petroleum and Fergus County areas, where the tour focused on large landscape projects, conservation easements, new technology for monitoring water and cattle, grazing management, and soil health.
The Northern Ag Networks Lane Nordlund shares an update on this years tour.

Very informative 2 day event. Thanks to the Fergus and Petroleum county conservation districts for organizing the event this year. If you are tired of doing the same old things year after year and need some fresh ideas to make your ranch more profitable and productive this is a great event to attend.
