Are you aware that the APR is sponsoring this event? One more way to try to further their agenda of getting rid of all the ranchers in their target area. This is a " feel good" slippery move on their part that we're certainly not going to attend.

Not sure you're aware of this, because they cleverly don't mention it, but this "living with wildlife" conference is organized by the American Prairie Reserve. Its purpose being to educate ranchers on getting along with wildlife? And as a side note, grizzlies, mountain lions and wolves. We are hoping the APR doesn't find any more "willing sellers", there are always other options!

I see that you have the Living With Wildlife Conference listed on your Ag Calendar. It is very concerning that you connect your strong ag based organization with the American Prairie Reserve. Their Senior Advisor is Bill Lively who retired from National Geographic in 2013. Sean Gerrity, APR's founder & former CEO is also a National Geographic Explorer. I wish it was an innocent seminar, but it's all about money & power that the APR is seeking. Please take them off of anything you represent. We are so thankful to have you representing Agriculture, not a handful of millionaires.

In a popular song of the 60’s, Sam the Sham crooned, “Hey there Little Red Riding Hood, you sure are looking good. You're everything a big bad wolf could want.”
As we learned as children, the wolf dresses in Grandma’s clothes, fools Little Red Riding Hood, and gobbles her up.
The American Prairie Reserve is sponsoring a conference in Lewistown in January, “Living With Wildlife,” “a free conference for agricultural producers and wildlife enthusiasts.”
The website states the goals are to create better communication and coordination between ag producers, government and non-government agencies, and to discover new opportunities for managing wildlife that is more beneficial than costly.
All that is really ironic, since the American Prairie Reserve is also the group who plans to buy out all the ranchers in a 3.5 million acre area and raze their homes, barns, corrals and fences until no sign of them is left.
I sure hope we learned a thing or two from Little Red Riding Hood. Save the Cowboy, STOP American Prairie Reserve!

This conference is an APR sideshow to garner support and legitimacy for their agenda to create a 3.5 million acre wildlife reserve in the middle of cattle country. Shame on all those who are helping APR pull this off. This issue is an affront to regional landowners and we are keeping notes and taking names.

I am going to this conference to support the young lady from the Milk River Livestock association who was brave enough to ask to be on a panel. She has stepped up to tell the rancher side of the story and I believe she should not be alone in that room. If that means you are going to "Keep notes and take my name down" just make sure you know I am in support of the rancher, as I am a 4th generation on the boots ranch family. That does not mean I can not go into the lions den.
