This year’s lamb market has been holding nothing back. Northern Ag Network spoke with Peter Orwick, Executive Director for the American Sheep Industry Association. He told us that not only has this year been a great year for the industry, it has truly been historical for feeder and market lambs.
Peter outlined some of those prices for lambs and rams and told us there was optimism for the coming fall sales.Peter told us that he sees no signs of this market slowing, adding that demand is up in every aspect. Producers, he says, will likely see those benefits through the next several months.
