2016 Montana Wool Harvesting School at the MSU Red Bluff Research Station near Norris MT
March 19-21, 2016

Montana State University Extension Sheep Program, Montana Wool Growers and Montana Agricultural Experiment Station invite you to participate in a world class Wool Harvesting School. We will provide beginners an opportunity to learn skills needed in the sheep shearing industry. We will also provide instruction to shearers currently working in the area and help improve their skill and knowledge, allowing them to harvest the wool clip in a manner that provides the grower with the most value.

If you are a wool producer, consider sponsoring an individual in your area that may benefit from this opportunity.

Course Fee: $200.00 per student includes instructor’s fee, maintenance of shearing machines and course materials. Some meals are included. Students should attend every day as instruction builds on the lessons learned in previous sessions.

Students may attend only part of the scheduled sessions, but will not receive a prorated or adjusted registration fee. Enrollment: 15 person limit. First-come, first-enrolled basis. All applications evaluated before final acceptance of participant.
