28th Annual Winter Wheat Meeting, Draper SD

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The 28th Annual Winter Wheat meeting will be held August 25, 2016 beginning at 6:30 p.m. (CDT) in Draper at the City Auditorium.

 

“This meeting has been a long serving popular tradition for south central South Dakota wheat producers,” said Ruth Beck, SDSU Extension Agronomy Field Specialist.

 

Speakers will include Christopher Graham, SDSU Extension Agronomist and Emmanuel Byamukama, Assistant Professor & SDSU Extension Plant Pathologist.

 

Presentations will include the results of the SDSU 2016 Crop Performance Wheat Trials and information on managing common diseases of wheat.

 

This event is coordinated by SDSU and the Jones County Crop Improvement Association. It is open to the public and a meal will be served. Preregistration is not necessary.
