In the thirty-six year history of the Montana Agri-Trade Exposition (MATE Show) farmers and ranchers have always been able to find the newest innovations in farm machinery, livestock equipment, and agri-business services. However, this year’s MATE Show will also offer attendees a trip back down memory lane by way of… Farm Toys.
3 Little Big Boys’ Toy Auction will be held in conjunction with the MATE Show as Don Goodman, Bob Adkins, and Malyn Oswald bring their collections of farm toys together to be featured in one auction. The auction will have over 310 lots of toys consisting of farm tractors, implements, combines, construction pieces, trucks, trailers, pedal tractors & car, display cases memorabilia and more. “We’ll have something for the diehard collectors all the way to sand box toys for kids to play with,” says consigners and collector Bob Adkins.
This week Russell Nemetz interviewed Bob Adkins during one of his television programs about the upcoming toy auction.
The toy auction will take place on Saturday, February 18 at 1:00 pm in the small bay of the Montana Pavilion at MetraPark in Billings, MT. All toys will be available for preview on the Thursday and Friday leading up to the auction. Musser Bros. will manage the sale and will have internet bidding available during the auction. All lots are available for preview online at: www.mbauction.com.
Show attendees will need a ticket to enter the MATE Show and toy auction, however free tickets are available at the First Interstate Bank locations, from all MATE Show exhibitors, and the NILE Office.
