CHEYENNE — Nine employees of a pig breeding farm near Wheatland have been cited for cruelty to animals after an investigation of abuse by a national animal rights group.
Allegations of abuse at Wyoming Premium Farms LLC came to light in May following an investigation by The Humane Society for the United States.
The nine employees apparently no longer work for the pig farm, Dr. Jason Hocker said Monday.
“Anybody associated with that incident has been released long ago,” he said.
