Photo of team setting grade for ranch road
Early ranchers had a lot to do to make their operation a success. That meant building roads to improve transportation in and out of the ranch. In this photo a team of horses is used to make a road or set a usable grade for wagons to use to move about the ranch. One wonders what the wood is piled up for at the bottom of the grade.
