A ‘Baaaad’ Traffic Jam

by

Some rather fluffy commuters caused quite a traffic jam in Northern Colorado on Tuesday. A flock of about 500 sheep, in a daring escapade, escaped their pen north of Windsor early in the morning. There was quite the scene as herding dogs, humans and people riding ATVs attempted to corral the rogue animals. The 'baaaad' traffic jam happened along Highway 257. After about 15 minutes, the roadway was cleared of sheep and the morning commute carried on. The Colorado Department of Transportation shared the video on its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/coloradodot/posts/921681407886766.

Thanks to the American Sheep Industry Weekly Newsletter for the report!  Everyone was obviously having too much fun with the puns on this one!
