Expert witnesses have been invited to testify Wednesday, July 14, during a key House subcommittee hearing on antibiotic resistance and the use of antibiotics in animal agriculture.
FDA principal deputy commissioner, Joshua Sharfstein, M.D., who recently released his agency’s draft guidance on antibiotic use in food animals will testify as will USDA’s chief veterinarian, John Clifford, D.V.M.
