Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack spoke with his Chinese counterpart this weekend. The talk was ahead of this week’s visit by China’s President Hu Jintao. Vilsack says they discussed opportunities for agriculture in the talks between President Obama and Premier Hu – including in the area of beef.
He outlined what relationships are in play.
Hu is slated to arrive in Washington, D.C. today.
