As they traveled the West in 1913 famous author Sinclair Lewis and his soon to be wife, Grace Hegger, made a stop in eastern Montana. Miles City photographer L. A. Huffman took this photo of them seated with two unidentified friends. These happy couples remind us that it’s time to wish you Happy Valentine’s Day from your friends at the Montana Historical Society.
