The picture of several celebrities captured during the Oscars Sunday that went viral on Twitter right after it was taken is benefiting the Humane Society of the United States.
The picture of Oscars host Ellen DeGeneres with several other celebrities including Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep became the most tweeted image ever.
The maker of the phone used to take the world’s most famous selfie – Samsung – is donating three-million dollars to the charities of Ellen’s choice because of the exposure garnered at the Oscars. DeGeneres selected St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and HSUS.
