            Locations, days and times are:

·         Powell – Friday, Feb. 12,  8-11 a.m., Park County Fairgrounds New Exhibit Hall.

There is no fee for the trainings, and participants can attend any training that fits their schedules, said Jeremiah Vardiman, Park County extension educator.

Topics include integrated pest management, pesticide labels, pesticide safety, pesticide exposure, calibration, worker protection standards and more, he said.

Any landowner who anticipates applying restricted-use pesticides must acquire a private pesticide application license through this training or examination through the extension office.
