BLS February Horse Sale: Best Sale Ever

by

The Billings Livestock Commission monthly horse sales are a highlight for many ranchers and horse enthusiasts.  Bill and Jan Parker over time have created a world-class environment for everyone involved in the horse business to be successful and provide a stage for buyers and seller around the region and country. This past weekend the BLS horse sales had their best sale so far and Jan Parker elaborates more.

Jan also shared with Northern Ag that if you have loose horses you want to get off your hands, you should consider bringing them in for the next sale.  Typically loose horses have been bringing 20 cents but in last weekend's sale, the average was 60-65 cents.   As Jan put it, there is a world wide demand for loose horses and the supply just can't fill the demand right now.  The next horse sale is on the fourth Saturday of the monthe, that being March 28th.  Visit www.BillingsLivestock.com for more on the sale.
