While Mother Nature scattered anywhere between 3 and 6 inches of rain throughout Custer County over the weekend, the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale proved what those in the grandstands already knew – cowboys are tough!
The horse races did have to be cancelled due to the extremely muddy track. All other arena activities, except the Gloriana concert that was moved inside, went on as planned. Some downtown activities also had to move locations, but plenty of people still lined the streets for a rainy Saturday morning parade.
