Currant Creek Angus

by

Greetings,

Welcome to Currant Creek Angus. We would like to invite you to participate in our Spring Roundup Sale at Miles City on April 28. Thank you for your interest in our program, both past and present. It continues to be an ultimate goal to develop a cowherd that can do the best balanced job in the industry with the least amount of inputs. When we talk about cutting inputs, we are primarily talking about purchased volume feeds and labor. Areas where we won’t cut are herd health prevention, balanced nutrition, and genetics. We view these as positive for our future.

The sire groups represented include some of our most solid and proven such as Ideal 7275, Roundup, Final Statement, and Upward as well as some new, Blackjack (Really Windy), Comanchero and Substance (Consensus sons) and the two Common Sense sires. The phenotype on the bulls continues to become more uniform.

The bulls will be available for viewing through Frontier Stockyards on video or at the ranch at Roundup. We hope you can attend the sale. However, if for some reason you cannot, you can work through Frontier Stockyards, Bill Pelton Livestock, any of the field men , Gary Wall or myself. Please call with any questions prior to the sale and we will assist any way we can.

We want to thank all of our crew here at the ranch as well as friends and neighbors who help throughout the year. Also thanks to Dr. Bryan Roe, Sonja Gregory, Vanek Cattle Services, and the crew at Frontier Stockyards for all their help.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to visiting with you.

Gary & Phyllis Eliasson and Family
