For the first time ever, The Battle on the Yellowstone Timed Event Challenge will showcase the regions top timed event cowboys. The event will be held on Sunday, October 16th in Rim Rock Auto Arena during the NILE. Contestants will compete in team roping–heading and heeling, tie down roping, and steer wrestling. Each contestant will do all four events, whoever has the fastest total time wins. There will be three rounds and a Calcutta. The first round begins at 8:00 a.m. followed immediately by the second round. A calcutta of the top 15 cowboys will be held at Rim Rock Auto Arena at 5:30 p.m. followed by the third and final round.
