The Governor’s Brucellosis Coordination Team will meet Wednesday April 15, 2015 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Hampton Inn and Suites Meeting Room, 55 Bloomfield Ave, Pinedale, WY.
Items on the agenda include an update from the State Veterinarian, results of cattle surveillance in the Bighorn Mountains, the results of a research project studying elk movement in the Bighorns, a discussion of the National Academy of Science study of Brucellosis in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and an update from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. Also, a presentation of a study that utilized genomics to study brucellosis transmission and a discussion related to the possible de-listing of Brucella abortus from the Federal Select Agents list is expected.
