Havre FSA to Host Disaster Program Meetings

Bruce Nelson, State Executive Director for the USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Montana, announced that the FSA Hill County Office will conduct two public meetings for Hi-Line producers to highlight upcoming disaster program deadlines. The meetings will begin at 9 a.m. and Noon at the Holiday Village Community Center, 1753 U.S. Highway 2 NW, in Havre on Thursday, April 7th

 

“We urge all area producers to talk to their neighbors and to help us spread the word about these important Thursday meetings,” Nelson said. “FSA staff invites all active farmers and ranchers in the area to attend.”

 

Topics will include, but are not limited to, the Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments Program signup for the 2009 Crop year and the Livestock Indemnity Program. For more information about FSA programs, contact your county FSA office and visit the state FSA website at: www.fsa.usda.gov/mt.
