Heart K Ranch Helping Youth Get Started in Ranching

by

LEWISTOWN, MT – On November 8, 2017, Heart K Ranch will hold their annual production sale featuring registered and commercial females. Following the sale, youth are encouraged to use their purchased females at county fair shows. If they win grand champion, they will receive a $1000 scholarship. All youth who buy a female will be supplied semen for them to breed that cow or heifer next year with any animal co-owned by Heart K, or to which they have access. They will cover the cost of two rounds of breeding in the spring.

At the production sale, they will be selling more than 80 bulls and 140 registered and commercial females, featuring Sitz, Bobcat, and Connealy Genetics. As a multi-generation ranch family, Heart K believes in youth and wants to help them succeed in their own agricultural pursuits.
