In the coming months, 2,040 cattle will be shipped from North Dakota to Kazakhstan. The first of many plane loads was flown out of eastern North Dakota a short while back.
Doug Goerhing, North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner, was there as 162 cattle were loaded up for the first flight and outlined the steps of the process.
