Miles City is preparing their first Long Range Transportation Plan. An informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Miles Community College, 2715 Dickinson Street, Room 316 in Miles City. A presentation will start at 6:30 PM, followed by an open house format for participant engagement. Representatives will be available to answer questions and provide information.
A long range transportation plan encompasses multi-modal transportation: including rail, air, freight, transit, pedestrian, bicycle, and roadways. The results of the plan strive to improve mobility and current and future travel demands that provides a safe, reliable transportation network for all users. The plan is expected to be completed by the fall of 2016.
