MDA Marketing Outreach Session, Conrad MT

by

Havre, Mont. –The Montana Department of Agriculture (MDA) will hold several marketing outreach sessions throughout the Golden Triangle region to identify the needs of Montana’s food and agriculture businesses and aid in marketing efforts. These regional visits will include one-on-one meetings, listening lunches open to all companies, and evening agricultural listening sessions to discuss broader agricultural issues.

“Our first series of outreach visits to Eastern Montana went very well, with our marketing team holding over a dozen one-on-one sessions with Montana food and agriculture companies and hearing from nearly 30 community members regarding their perspectives on agricultural issues,” said MDA Director Ron de Yong. “We look forward to hearing from businesses and individuals from the Western portion of the Golden Triangle region so that we can better understand their agricultural needs.”

The MDA marketing team is visiting with food and agriculture companies around the state in order to better understand their marketing and business needs both as individual enterprises and as an industry. By taking the pulse of the agriculture community from the Eastern plains to the Western mountains, the department plans to use the findings of this outreach to create and enhance programs, services and campaigns that will better serve Montana’s food and agriculture industries. Agricultural listening sessions, which are free and open to the public, will be held in the following locations:

9/7 – Conrad – Super 8, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

9/8 – Chester – Liberty County Library, 12:00 pm-1:00 pm

(pizza sponsored by Stricks Ag)

9/8 – Havre – Duck Inn, 7:00 pm-9:00 pm

(appetizers sponsored by Bear Paw Development Corporation)
