Join Us for the MonDak Ag Showcase

The Mon-Dak Ag Showcase is an annual public event showcasing and promoting the Mon-Dak region as an ideal place for new agricultural businesses and development. The event also promotes the irrigation development and potential in the region, with the crop diversity taking place on dryland conditions. The guests in attendance will have a unique opportunity to view crops now growing in the region and the processing of them. The tours showcase the agricultural capabilities found within the Mon-Dak region and highlight the area’s potential growth and development.

The event is hosted every year to promote the region as a viable ag producing region on a variety of crops and livestock and to showcase the current and potential ag processing located in the region. Pulse plants, seed potato production, and a storage and handling facility for malt barley are a few of the ag ventures that have developed due to the success of the agriculture in the region.

Ag processors from all across the country, along with local farmers and members of the community are encouraged to attend the tours. The event allows guests to meet with the banks, area producers, government officials, researchers and processors. The tours are very informative, featuring experts to talk and answer questions regarding the crops in the region. The tours provide guests the chance to investigate the rich opportunities existing in the Mon-Dak region.
