Montana Beef Council Teams Up with Wendy’s to Promote Montana Ranchers

by

BILLINGS, MT – The Montana Beef Council has teamed up with Billings-based franchise, Wentana, again to answer the age old question, Where’s the Beef ™? The answer is simple, Wendy’s. Wendy’s has been serving hamburgers made with fresh, never-frozen beef* since day one, because founder Dave Thomas believed that was the best way to do it. “Teaming up with Montana Beef Producers and the Montana Beef Council is a natural fit,” said Jonna Jones, Director of Marketing for Wentana. “We are able to educate our consumers and showcase our 100{73205e5fd8edf14435f3e2e65a2beea89873ca1d4142610a26265edfe9982562} fresh, never frozen beef while at the same time helping increase beef sales.”

The Northern Ag Network's Russell Nemetz stopped by a Wendy's Restaurant in Billings, MT to learn more about this fun partnership.

The pinnacle of the multimedia approach campaign will take place on Saturday, March 25 with a deal so deliciously different, it can only happen for one day. At all four Billings Wendy’s locations when you order a Dave’s Single ™, Double or Triple, Wendy’s and the Montana Beef Council will upgrade your burger by another patty for free. That means you can order a single and get a double at no extra charge or order a double and get a triple at no extra charge.

“The mission of the Montana Beef Council is to increase demand for beef and we have found the perfect partner with Wendy’s, said Chaley Harney, executive director for the Montana Beef Council. “This is a positive opportunity for Montana’s beef producers and Wendy’s does an exceptional job of showcasing beef.”

Wendy’s was founded in 1969 by Dave Thomas, whose favorite food was a fresh, made-to-order cheeseburger.  The high quality beef and ingredient standards Thomas created are still in effect today at Wendy’s.

The Wendy’s Company (NASDAQ: WEN) is the world’s third largest quick-service hamburger company. The Wendy’s system includes more than 6,500 franchise and Company restaurants in the U.S. and 29 other countries and U.S. territories worldwide.
