Montanans are invited to attend the Supreme Court Candidate Forum Wednesday, October 9 at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center. The event starts at 6 p.m. with a candidate meet-and-greet followed by the forum at 7 p.m.
All four candidates for the Supreme Court have accepted the invitation. Judge Katherine Bidegaray and Judge Dan Wilson are candidates for Supreme Court Seat 3; Cory Swanson and Judge Jerry Lynch are candidates for Chief Justice.
“This event will provide an excellent opportunity for the public to hear directly from the candidates as they respond to questions and talk about their vision for the direction of Montana’s judicial system,” said MFBF President Cyndi Johnson.
The candidates will answer questions provided by the Montana Farm Bureau and Yellowstone County Farm Bureau focused on agriculture and rural issues. The event, which is free and open to the public, will also be broadcast statewide on affiliated radio stations of the Northern Ag and News networks and the Montana Farm Bureau YouTube page.
