Montana Grain Growers Convention Underway

GREAT FALLS, MT (November 30, 2016) – The Montana Grain Growers Association’s 61st Annual Convention is underway in Great Falls. And wheat and barley producers from across the state are in attendance taking in informative sessions on how to increase profitability especially during these time of low commodity prices.

Rob Davis is the president of the Montana Grain Growers Association and farms near Larslan, MT which is in the northeastern part of the state.

This week the Northern Ag Network’s Russell Nemetz talked with him about this year’s event.

Market research and development are two very important missions of the Montana Wheat and Barley Committee. Mike O’Hara is the Montana Wheat and Barley Committee chairman from Fort Benton and told the Northern Ag Network’s Lane Nordlund so is promoting Montana’s high quality wheat and barley around the world.
