Montana Women Involved in Farm Economics-WIFE Meet in Billings

BILLINGS, MT (September 9, 2016) – Montana Women Involved in Farm Economics (WIFE) met in Billings this week for its 40th Annual Meeting. Women from across Montana joined others at the Big Horn Resort in conjunction with the Women Stepping Forward for Agriculture Conference.

WIFE was founded nationally in 1976 and the Montana Chapter was formed shortly after. Since that time, Montana WIFE has been involved in “everything from education, health care, taxation, the Farm Bill, and several other issues that affect us as ag producers.

Montana WIFE President, Whitney Klasna of Lambert, MT talked with the Northern Ag Network’s Russell Nemetz about the importance of women in Agriculture.
