MSU-Northern Stockgrowers and PAS Club have come together to host an open Livestock Judging Event on September 29th at 9:00AM at the Northern Agriculture Research Center in Havre, MT.
There will be four different age groups including: Pee-Wee 5-7, Junior 8-13, Senior 14-18, and Adult 19+. Classes may include: Cattle, Sheep, Goats,Wool, and Horses. The contestants will present their placing and reasons to adult judges after they have had ample time to judge each class of stock and practice their presentation.
Beef walking tacos will be provided for lunch. 1 free for each contestant with a charge of $5 for each additional walking taco and all non-contestants. Please understand that you will have to pay an entry fee of $15 per person to go to the workshop and contest (total), OR $10 per contestant for the contest, OR $10 per student for the workshop, upon arrival (not including Pee-Wee).
