NAPA Group Donates to Billings Area Toys for Tots

by

Steve Postel, General Manager, NAPA Billings Distribution Center, has presented a check for $21,125 dollars to the Billings Area Toys for Tots organization. The donation was on behalf of the NAPA Billings Distribution Center and NAPA Auto Parts store owners from Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.

This is the largest single donation Toys for Tots has ever received.
According to Postel,  “We got the ball rolling at our annual NAPA Marketing Meeting last year, and were able to more than triple our donation during the 2014 Meeting. We had some great items up for auction, and cash donations made up the balance.”  The NAPA Billings Distribution Center serves over 80 stores in a four-state region; 49 of those stores were represented at the 2014 Owners’ Conference in Billings last week.

Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, which distributes toys to children in need. Reservist Major Bill Hendricks formed the program in 1947; they became a national organization and non-profit foundation in 1991.
