Breaking into agriculture takes more than just passion, it requires resources, education, and connections. That’s why AgWest Farm Credit’s New Producer Grant was created, to celebrate the ingenuity and drive of new producers while helping them take their first steps toward a successful operation.
This one-time $15,000 grant is designed to help aspiring and beginning producers start or grow their operations, access educational support, and build connections with other farmers and ranchers. In 2024, AgWest awarded 30 motivated individuals with grants to help them pursue their agricultural dreams. Could you be next?
In a recent episode of the Northern Ag Network On Demand podcast, AgWest Farm Credit’s New Producer Grant program was highlighted, featuring insights from grant recipients Tristan and Sheridan Hoyer, as well as AgWest representatives Jesika Harper and SharLa Lalum.
