NILE Announces National Anthem Singing Contest Winner

by

Billings, MT–The 2015 NILE National Anthem Contest winner is Faith Stevenson of Hobson, Mont. She will sing the Star Spangled Banner for the grand entry of the Oct. 15, Thursday night's professional rodeo.

Faith Stevenson is the daughter of Clint and Adana Stevenson and grew up on the Diamond Dot Ranch where her family raises registered Angus cattle.

She began singing the National Anthem at her family's annual bull sales at the age of eight.  Faith has been actively involved in the NILE competing in the horse futurities, cattle showing, and last year participated in the NILE Merit Heifer Program.  Faith has also been an active member of FFA and 4-H.

In 2015, she was second place overall and first place vocalist in the Montana State FFA talent contest.  Faith's first love is horse training and in June she will be attending the Clinton Anderson Clinician Academy in Stephenville, Texas to become a certified horse clinician.

Faith wants to thank her friends and family for voting for her to make singing at the NILE rodeo possible.

Be in Billings Oct. 10-17 for livestock shows and events. Rodeo performances are each night Oct. 14-17 kicking off at 7 p.m. Don't miss them!
