Old Man Winter will not let go this year with the latest round of winter weather hitting this weekend in northeast Montana and western North Dakota.
Tony Merriman with the National Weather Service in Bismarck gave us an update early Monday.
It is disheartening to have a winter storm of this magnitude this late in the season with livestock deaths being reported and the 2011 spring planting season delayed even further.
As for what May has in store, Tony says his weather models call for more “normal weather patterns” and temperatures for May.
