Overzealous Puppy Herds Sheep into Living Room

by

A sheepdog in Britain has recently become world famous for herding sheep into the family home.

Any producer with a cow dog knows that a canine with a herding instinct needs a job. If there is ball to throw, he will chase it. If there is a cow…sheep…child…toy to wrangle, she will wrangle it.

Imagine the surprise of UK-based farmer, Rosalyn Edwards, when she found nine sheep in her living room.

Rosalyn Edwards told the UK Telegraph, “I was in the kitchen and heard a noise. I turned around and the sheep were just standing there. There were about nine of them. My son and husband had gone out into the field, and the gate was left open. Rocky got them out and led them to the house. I thought it was funny at the time, but then there was quite a lot of wee, poo and mud everywhere. It took me a little while to clean it all up.”

Rocky, the 7-month old border collie, had been in training and you might say was practicing his training in his free time.

The sheep were reportedly shooed from the home leaving a wake of evidence of their short-lived time in the throes of modern comfort.

No word on any discipline imbued upon Rocky, the overzealous sheepdog.
