All agencies, groups and interested persons are hereby notified that public comments are currently being accepted for the new Wyoming Bighorn Sheep/Domestic Sheep Revision Rules.
Pursuant to W.S.11-19-604, the Wyoming Board of Agriculture (WBA), the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission (WGFC) and the Wyoming Livestock Board (WLSB) have been working together to jointly promulgate rules and regulations to develop and maintain the Wyoming Bighorn Sheep/Domestic Sheep Interaction Plan. The new joint rule will be WGFC Chapter 66: Wyoming Bighorn Sheep/Domestic Sheep Revision Rules.
A public hearing and agency action on the proposed rule shall occur on Thursday, July 7, in Pinedale, at a joint meeting of the WGFC, the WLSB, and the WBA. In order for written comments to be reviewed prior to the public hearing, written comments shall be accepted no later than 8 am on July 5th.
Copies of the draft regulation may be obtained from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) office in Casper at 3030 Energy Lane or on the WGFD website at http://wgfd.wyo.gov/Get-Involved/Public-Meetings.
