Mark your calendars for the annual 2011 Montana Angus Tour planned for September 21st – 23rd. Montana’s Annual Angus Tour heads to the hi‐line for three days of great times, good friends and quality Angus cattle. Hosted by the North Central Montana Angus Association and headquartered in Havre, this year’s tour includes a golf scramble, guided tours of MSU‐Northern’s Experiment Station, and visits to area Angus operations. Tour hosts will be: Top Notch Angus, Whistling Winds Livestock, Louie Petrie Ranch, KelMcC Angus, Hinman Angus, Woodland Farms, Milk River Genetics, Peterson Grain & Cattle, Nissen Angus, Schmitt Angus, Clear Creek Angus, Shipwheel Cattle Co., MY Angus, 4 Butte Cattle Co., Northfork Angus and Bar 9 Angus. 

Keynote speaker, Dr. Tom Noffsinger, will address low-stress livestock handling and the positive effects it has on cattle. Dr. Noffsinger is a Veterinarian focused on beef production and caregiver-cattle interactions; he practices at feed yards and ranches in NE, CO, KS, IA and OK. Paul Dykstra, Beef Cattle Specialist from Certified Angus Beef LLC, will discuss cattle markets and the CAB Feedlot Licensing Program. 

The MT Angus Tour early deadline registration price has been extended two weeks.   Registrations mailed  by August 29th will still qualify for the $95 registration fee.  After that date, the fee will go to $110.
