Russian olive removal Cody noon topic
“Understanding Russian Olives” is the topic of a noon presentation Tuesday, March 24, in the Grizzly Room of the Park County Public Library in Cody.
Mary McKinney, assistant supervisor of the Park County Weed and Pest Control District, is guest speaker.
“This event is open to the public, so I would encourage you to come and learn about Russian olives and the efforts of the Park County weed and pest,” said Jeremiah Vardiman, University of Wyoming Extension educator in Park County.
McKinney will discuss why Russian olives are being controlled and the herbicide/application process.
