The South Dakota Stockgrowers Association has launched the search for a new Executive Director. The Board of Directors is inviting applications from interested candidates to be submitted immediately.
The SD Stockgrowers Executive Director is a full time, salaried position based in Rapid City, SD. Responsibilities include membership recruitment and growth, policy development and advocacy, communications and marketing, convention and event planning, fundraising and office management.

Current Executive Director Silvia Christen has resigned her position after 9 years with the organization to pursue other opportunities. Members are invited to join the Association the evening of June 30 in New Underwood for an opportunity to wish her well and thank her for her service to the association.
