KIRBY, MT (March 30, 2017) – For ranchers, the change in season from winter to spring not only brings warmer temperatures and green grass but it also brings new life.
That's because calving is underway for a lot of cattlemen and cattlewomen and it also means long hours and long days but it's all worth it because its this year's cash crop.
The Northern Ag Network's Russell Nemetz recently visited Jones Brothers Livestock near Kirby, MT to see how calving is going there.
