TALL IN THE SADDLE, AND DOG DAY TIRED
Photo of rider in front of stock gate
The information written about this photo from photographer Evelyn Cameron notes this is “J.H. Price Esquire on Blue Funk in 1902.” The horse and his rider seem to be feeling better and doing pretty good, but the dog in the foreground, looks a little tuckered out. Early Montana had its dog days as well. If the horse was “Blue Funk,” one wonders what the dog was called.
