MSU Extension in Yellowstone County will hold a Tax and Retirement Planning Seminar on Monday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. The seminar will be held at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center and will focus on tax and retirement planning strategies for agricultural producers. The seminar is free to attend and will conclude around 8:00 p.m.

What Ag Producers Need to Know about the New Tax Law

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 provided sweeping changes in tax law for businesses, trusts, and individuals. While much of the impact is beneficial for ag producers, it’s important to examine how the changes will impact short and long-term goals. This presentation is designed especially for ag producers, and provides a high-level and practical look at the changes affecting tax year 2018 and beyond.
