Ten Teens Selected for NILE Scholarships

Billings, Mont. – Ten teenagers have been named as 2011 recipients of college scholarships from the Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE), each in the amount of $500.  Scholarships were awarded to:

Cortney Bromenshenk of Billings, MT is the daughter of Paul & Brenda Bromenshenk.  After graduating from Billings West High School, she plans to major in Engineering at Casper College.  She looks to a future as a Chemical Engineer.

Anne Indreland of Big Timber, MT is the daughter of Roger & Betsy Indreland.  Upon graduating from Sweet Grass County High School, she intends to major in Ag Business/Animal Science at Clarendon College in Texas.  Anne’s career plan is ranching and small business management.

Morgan Kuntz of Dillon, MT is the daughter of Rick & Gail Kuntz.  After graduating from Beaverhead County High School, she plans to attend MSU to major in Agriculture Communications and leadership.  Her career goal is to go into radio broadcasting.

Tyler Nansel of Billings, MT is the son of Jay & Gayle Nansel.  After graduating from Billings West High School, he plans to major in Electrical or Civil Engineering at MSU Bozeman.  His goal is to have a future in engineering.

Austin Reyher of Belgrade, MT is the son of Mark & Jeanne Reyher.  Upon graduating from Belgrade High School, he plans to major in Farm & Ranch Management at MSU Bozeman and someday manage his family’s ranch and land.

Kayla Sargent of Shawmut, MT is the daughter of Dale & Martha Sargent.  After graduating from Sweet Grass County High School, she plans to attend Northwest College in Powell.  Her goal is to major in Agriculture and eventually work as an extension agent.

Kelsey Stoner of Clancy, MT is the daughter of Scott & Louise Stoner.  After graduating from Helena High School, she plans to major in Animal Science with an Equine Option at MSU Bozeman.  Her career plan is to be a veterinarian, animal geneticist, and animal nutritionist.

Jena Wagner of Billings, MT is the daughter of Darryl & Kari Wagner.  Upon graduating from Billings Senior High School, she plans to attend MSU Bozeman and major in Agricultural Business, Communication/Leadership, and Graphic Design.  Jena plans her future with the Angus Journal as a graphic designer & photographer.

Whit Weingart of Winnett, MT is the son of K.C. & Teri Weingart.  After graduating from Winnett High School, he plans to major in Agriculture Business at Northwest College Wyoming.  His career plan is to work as an agricultural lawyer and cattle rancher.

Amanda Wiley of Musselshell, MT is the daughter of Jon & Kathryn Wiley.  After graduation from Roundup High School, her plans are to major in Ag Business at MSU Bozeman and someday work in ranching and livestock contracting.
