The 70th National Association of Conservation Districts is being held in Reno, Nevada. Northern Ag Networks Lane Nordlund brings an update with NACD CEO Jeremy Peters.
The annual meeting is the largest gathering of conservation district supervisors from across the country, who gather to discuss policy, set priorities for the upcoming year and debate issues that are important at a local level.
The conservation district supervisors represent the landscapes across America. They represent farming and ranching districts to urban conservation districts with a very different customer base, and Peters emphasized, “They are all united in one effort. And that is making sure that our natural resources are well managed. well utilized across the country.”
