The Montana Department of Agriculture has produced a Vertebrate Pest Identification Key to
help residents and producers accurately identify the signs of common vertebrate pests that
damage turf and crops. Correct pest identification determines if management is needed and
helps in selecting the most effective management methods and the best time to use them.
