TIMES HAVE CHANGED IN BILLINGS, BUT YOU COULD ALWAYS GET A DRINK
Photo of Bunch Grass Saloon
Billings has changed a lot since 1882 when the Bunch Grass Saloon offered early settlers a hard drink in a soft sided tent. The first signs of permanence can be seen in the frame building further up the street. One thing’s for sure, it paid to advertise even in those days. The sign probably cost about as much as the tent.
