Time’s Winding Down on Pesticide Applicator Credits

by

The Fergus County Weed District wants to reminder all producers and landowners that currently have or want to attain a private applicator license (which is defined as a person applying restricted-use pesticides for agriculture on land owned, rented, or leased by the person or by his or her employer) must attain six applicator credits by December 31, 2017.

Coming up in Lewistown, MT on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, the Fergus County Weed District is hosting the Central Montana Pesticide Applicator training. By attending this event, you can receive four pesticide applicator credits. Again, private applicators must have six applicator credits completed by December 31st, 2017. Anyone from across Montana can attend the Central Montana Pesticide Applicator training in Lewistown and receive four of the six credits needed. Call Brady Cannon at the Fergus county weed office at 535-3970 to pre-register.
