As originally reported on Northern Ag Network, livestock associations are alarmed by a recent item in the FY 2017 Department of Interior Appropriations bills. A letter sent by the livestock groups stated that “buried in the hundreds of pages of bill and report language is Section 122 which creates a new, Congressionally-authorized Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Foundation. This Foundation was championed by Obama Administration officials like former Secretary Sally Jewell and BLM Director Neil Kornze.”
