The University of Wyoming Extension is calling on recent high school grads and college students who are interested in learning more on the ranch industry. The move is part of UW’s 2023 Wyoming Ranch Camp that will take place on the Padlock Ranch north of Sheridan June 12th through the 16th.
The 5-day hands-on camp covers everything ranching including economics and building a ranch plan, animal science, plant science, range health, and soils.
In their recent social media post, UW Extension thanked Padlock Ranch for their support in hosting the experience and posted a video from last year’s Wyoming Ranch Camp.
Now there is only room for 20 students and the cost is relatively low at $200 a student. UW Extension said you can contact Hudson Hill, Extension Ag and Natural Resources Educator at hrhilluwyo.edu
