UW to Host 2nd of 4 Ranching in the West Seminar Series

The University of Wyoming College of Agriculture, Life Sciences and Natural Resources will facilitate a seminar on energy innovations Monday, March 18, at 5 P.M. hosted by Gillette College.

The Energy Innovations Seminar is the second in UW’s 2024 Ranching in the West seminar series, which partners with community colleges across the state to provide relevant, meaningful information about ranching and land management to students and agricultural professionals.

On April 1st, the Brown Family and operators of Northern Ag Network will be at the Northwest College in Powell Wyoming to talk about family-run businesses, community, and industry leadership in agriculture.

The final seminar is called Navigating Western Waters to discuss water law, use, and water issues affecting the West. Be in Laramie at the Gateway Center at 9 A.M. on April 22nd to hear about water challenges in the western region!

  • Feb. 12 Ranching Collaboratively: Mastering Public Land Partnerships, 5 P.M. to 7:30 P.M at the Casper College
  • Mar. 18 Energy Innovations: Exploring the Influence of Energy Innovations, 5 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Gillette College
  • Apr. 1 Leading the Field: Family-Run Businesses, Industry, and Community Leadership, 5 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Northwest college in Powell
  • Apr. 22 Navigating Western Waters: Addressing Water Challenges in the Western Region, 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. at the UW Gateway Center in Laramie
